5. Future work

The current implementation is a port-parameterized SINGLE node; the defined OpenNIC profiles use one U50 CMAC or two U280 CMACs. The next steps extend it toward a multi-switch architecture.

    Define a lossless partial format and implement PROGRESS, replay, retry, and bounded recovery. See Protocol work.

    Integrate the collective engine with forwarding, VOQs, crossbar arbitration, and shared egress resources.
